Diesel fuel

composition of gas condensate

Diesel fuel (DT) is an oil product consisting of a mixture of hydrocarbons obtained by distillation and selection of certain fractions. The oil is processed using distillation columns, and heated to the required temperature for separation into fractions. The diesel fraction – about a fourth of it – is obtained when heated to 180-360 °C. The rest is obtained as a result of cracking processes with catalysts such as metal, hydrogen, or high temperature. Up to 80% of the diesel fuel is obtained at the cracking stage. At the end, it is subjected to alkaline purification.

Diesel fuel is more known popularly as «solar oil» (from the German word meaning «das Solar-öl»). This name of diesel fuel received in 1857 for the yellow color produced by the distillation of crude oil. Used in diesel and gas turbine engines of terrestrial and marine equipment. Diesel fuel is divided into three trademarks: summer (pour point of -5 ° C), winter (pour point of -35 ° C), Arctic (pour point of -50 ° C). To buy diesel fuel wholesale please contact us.
